h i s t o r y for April, 2010...
The last goodbye
I’m leaving my university for home today. For two months (or perhaps, touch wood, forever). It’s the end of my first part of varsity life. My first ever bachelor’s degree! For the uninitiated, my course requires two degrees, and that means two more hellish years to suffer.
However for this very course that I’m taking, not everyone will stand the chance to continue their second chapter of varsity life. I may, or may not get the ticket for that. The decision is in the hands of the school. And luck plays a very important role in this. I just don’t know whether it’s siding with me or not. Only time will tell. But I stay optimistic. Whatever it is, I’m sure life knows what is best for me. No one is born a loser. :)
But hey, I’m gonna graduate! Convocation’s in August. For the past two weeks, I had gathering after gathering with my dearest course mates and friends before we parted ways. I know it would be extremely hard to find a chance to sit down and talk and laugh to our heart’s content as one whole group after this.
Thinking back of all the memories that we’ve been through together in the past three years as course mates, my emotions are mixed. I just wish that time could slow down its pace or pause for a moment or two. Or better still, have it turned back to my freshman days! I’d love to relive it once more. But the reality is just plain harsh and cruel, ain’t it?

With this post, I wish all my friends, especially those that I’m fortunate to meet and get acquainted with, all the best in your future undertakings and in everything you do. Being an optimist, I’m sure we’ll meet again… Somewhere… Someday…
